1. General Considerations

1.1. Access to the C&P, LDA website and the use of its resources is regulated by the conditions described in this document, for all situations not considered here, Portuguese legislation is applicable. 

1.2. Your acceptance of the Terms & Conditions is confirmed at the moment of registration or, in the case of unregistered users, at the beginning of the website’s use. 

1.3. Since this document is available for consultation on all pages, the user cannot deny knowledge of it, being advised to consult it periodically in order to have access to the latest version.

2. Terms of Use 

2.1. All contents of the website are the property of C&P, LDA and are protected by the respective copyright and industrial property rights and their dissemination is not permitted for purposes other than those related to the commercial interaction between C&P, LDA and the user, without prior authorization. 

2.2. The contents related to products and their use reflect the information of the manufacturers, who are responsible for their reliability, under the conditions specified by them.  Some products are registered with simplified information or approximated values ( example 1 kg ~10 N) in order to facilitate reading and product compare, it's always necessary to validate all product information and available versions / optionals in the manufacturer catalog or by  technical inquiry to C&P, LDA.

2.3. The content available on pages accessible directly or indirectly through the C&P, LDA website may be protected by other regulations or legislation, and the user is responsible for consulting the terms of those pages. 

2.4. C&P, LDA does not control and cannot be held responsible for the quality and accuracy of the content and information provided by third parties, namely, but not exclusively, through websites, catalogues or other sources of information. 

2.5. User registration and access to some content is permitted only by validation by C&P, LDA, who reserves the right not to grant it or suspend it whenever there is evidence of fraudulent use, violation of commercial protection rights, copyright or others.

2.6. Some contents are protected by a user / password set, only registered users are allowed access and they are responsible for all activities and requests made with their user data. 

2.7. The user is responsible for the correct introduction of his data and its update. 

2.8. It is not allowed to give access credentials to third parties, if the user detects that his access data are being used by third parties, he must immediately notify C&P, LDA by email or telephone in order to block the account or change the access credentials

2.9. In accordance with the current legislation on the protection of personal data, the user is thus informed that his personal data, as well as business relation data, will be treated with the aim of maintaining a business relation. The legal basis for data processing is the correct treatment of information and business transactions. This data is necessary since, if not provided, the desired commercial relation between the parties cannot be created. The data will be maintained as long as the business relationship is maintained and its exclusion is not requested, in accordance with the applicable legal deadlines. No transfers are foreseen, except in the case of a legal obligation. 

2.10. Under the data protection regulation the user can exercise his rights of access, rectification, exclusion, portability and limitation or opposition to the use of his data, as long as it does not interfere with ongoing commercial transactions or other legal obligations. To do so, use the email info[at]cep.com.pt.

2.11. Although C&P, LDA adopts all measures for normal and secure access to content, there may be a risk of unauthorized access by third parties and breach of security, so if the user detects any abnormal situation, he should immediately contact C&P, LDA through the usual contacts. 

2.12. C&P, LDA does not assume any commitment for the permanent availability of content, nor does it assume any responsibility for the possible presence of any type of malware, viruses or others, so the user must respect good computer security practices when downloading content, accessing the C&P, LDA website and the connections that originate from it

II Series, No. 144, 24.06.1995.
