Application

For the transport of lightweight materials with a smooth and stable base, Skate Wheels are particularly well suited. They are used in roller conveyors, roller tracks, scissor roller conveyors and curved conveyors.

They are also used in flow racks, as deflectors and guides, and as connections between different conveying systems.

Load

For the load capacity, please refer to the catalogue or the product specifications. The conveying speed of conveyor systems is up to 2 m/s.

Operating Conditions

Steel Skate Wheels: Temperature range from -50°C to +100°C / +250°C.

Plastic Skate Wheels: Plastic skate wheels with plastic balls up to +80°C. Conveying speed up to 2 m/s.

Accessories

Skate wheels are also available as flanged versions (side guide wheels). Please check the larger wheel diameter. Rubber cushioning rings are also available to cover the skate wheels when handling goods with sensitive surfaces.

Construction

Schulz steel skate wheels are fitted with ball bearings and feature an enclosed design. They consist of a housing with cover, guides, hub and balls. The active components are hardened. Plastic skate wheels are fitted with double-row ball bearings. The balls are guided by a plastic cage.
